Spring Hill Public School is a stimulating learning environment where all students are provided with a wide array of learning opportunities that create resilient, respectful and responsible learners. Our whole school community and staff are committed to developing students who always strive to achieve and perform to their very best in all areas of school life.
Our passionate and dedicated teaching staff work collectively to develop and deliver stimulating programs in all key learning areas and always make appropriate adjustments to ensure all students are actively engaged in achieving appropriate outcomes and their full potential.
The staff have been involved in a variety of professional learning including L3, Resilience Training, Plan, WOW, Oliver, Austswim, Robotics and coding.
Spring Hill Public School continues to sustain a strong partnership with our P & C and local community. Special events including Picnic in the Playground, Grandparents Day, Easter Hat Parade, Anzac ceremony, Jack May Cup and End of Term Assemblies encourage and promote a strong partnership.
Our P & C have provided outstanding support for several enrichment programs that enhance our school curriculum. Spring Hill continues to achieve excellent results in swimming, athletics and cross country from district to national level.
Our many achievements in the arts have also been outstanding with students performing in 105 items at the 2019 Wellington Eisteddfod and receiving 39 first, 22 second, 12 third, 13 highly commended and 2 encouragement awards. We also have one student selected in the OSSA Drama Ensemble who performed at the State Drama Festival.
I'm so very proud of the many diverse and incredible achievements of the students at Spring Hill Public School and acknowledge the many volunteers and my amazing and dedicated staff. I am extremely grateful to have a truly talented team of professionals who work co-operatively to go above and beyond every single day.
