Student opportunities and activities

At Spring Hill Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our programs may include:

Our extra-curricular highlights

HPGE - Project Program

Students spend every Wednesday afternoon participating in HPGE activities on areas of interest to them. The program encourages hands-on learning, creativity and collaboration as students explore their interests, develop new skills, and connect classroom learning to real-world experiences. No matter what they choose, every student finds a path to shine!

Sporting Opportunities

Our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sporting events including PSSA, Small School Knockout Competitions, Interschool Sporting Cups, Inclusive Sports and individual events.

Earlier this year, our school hosted the Jack May Cup 2025 and were thrilled to welcome Spring Terrace Public School and Cargo Public School, making it a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and forge new friendships.

Creative Arts

Students with an interest in dance had the opportunity to participate in the Orange Eisteddfod as part of the Orange Small Schools Dance Troupe.

Congratulations to all students on their 1st place in the highly competitive Open Primary Schools Dance Section.

Their outstanding performance of Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" wowed the judges and audience alike.

Thank you to our parents for supporting the team and transporting students to rehearsals.
